David Brownlee is the reason that Penn's College House system exists. He chaired the faculty committee in 1997 that drew up the plans.
Among his books is Building America's First University An Historical and Architectural Guide to the University of Pennsylvania . His recent accomplishments include a 28-minute documentary, Philadelphia: America's First World Heritage City :
