Taya Stevens-Allen (she/her) is a Graduate Resident Advisor at Ware College House. A former Dragon, Philadelphia native, and First-Generation College Attendee/Graduate, Taya received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Drexel University and is currently pursuing a Masters of Public Health here at The University of Pennsylvania. She has experience working with underserved communities both domestically and abroad, namely advancing research with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Drexel University, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), and experiential education through the Where There Be Dragons Program. Her research interests include (but are not limited to) community health, access to healthcare, and epidemiology. Over the years, she’s developed a personal interest in urban retail and fashion, and is a Philadelphian to the core. Behind her accomplishments are extraordinary mentors and she hopes to bestow the same. She welcomes and encourages all conversation ranging from navigating college finances and identifying academic interests, to new music, streetwear, and things to do in Philly.
