Paul is a professor of Pharmacology, Biochemisty, Biophysics and Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. His research themes include neurodegeneration, infectious disease, and cardiovascular disease.

One of his current research projects focuses on a novel idea about the cause (and potential prevention or even cure) of Alzheimer's disease. This discovery depends on his lab's usual combination of expertise in different types of spectrometry and spectroscopy -- come and ask him about it!
