A number of you have likely encountered the preachers on Locust Walk (across from the Button) over the last few weeks. As our House Dean expressed in her email, we recognize that Penn is a public space but we don't tolerate hateful speech in our Ware Community. As such, we believe it is important to create a space for processing that experience, supporting one another, and also brainstorming ways to constructively respond to these types of situations in the future.

Join RA Jamie, GA Caroline, and your fellow housemates for a Circle Conversation about responding to hate speech on Penn's campus. We will also be making posters together to create a "sign bank" in Ware so that, if another situation arises, we will have posters on the ready to counter-protest.

We wil be meeting in Memorial Tower from 7-8pm on Sept 19th. Free dinner (catered by Pattaya) will be provided.
