Position: Ware House Admin. Asst. / Student Worker
Location: Ware College House

QUALIFICATIONS

Student workers must have an interest in supporting Ware College House programming initiatives. Applicants should be detailed-oriented, responsible, punctual, computer savvy, and willing to learn. Applicants MUST have a good attitude and be a team player! All work-study staff meetings must be attended.

DESCRIPTION

Duties are to support house activities and Ware residents; check in/out house equipment; working drop-in shifts in the house office and/or student-worker office; house mail and errand responsibilities; coordinating with facilities to maintain lounges and communal spaces throughout the House; assisting the House Dean and House Coordinator with other tasks as needed including (but not limited to) distributing weekly house announcements [via Stall Street Journal]; updating bulletin boards; supporting weekly in-house dinner events (transporting food via carts /set-up & clean-up) and light housekeeping responsibilities.

This is a 10-20 hour per week position. Start and end dates are flexible.

Position: Social Media Manager
Location: Ware College House

DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Ware College House is looking for a talented social media manager to administer social media accounts and create a social media marketing plan. This position will be responsible for creating original text and video content and managing posts. They will manage Ware’s image in a cohesive way to achieve the House's social media goals.

The social media manager should be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. They should have excellent communication skills and be able to express Ware College House’s views creatively, and should also have a high level of professionalism and discernment when making posts.

Ultimately, the social media manager should be able to handle the House's social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

This is a 10-20 hour per week position. Start and end dates are flexible.

Position: Graphics Administrative Assistant
Location: Ware College House

DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Ware College House is looking for someone who has an interest and experience in design to fill our Graphics Administrative Assistant position. This position requires the designing of Ware College House's event flyers, our online newsletter, and our Stall Street Journal newsletter.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience with design required. Students living in Ware are especially encouraged to apply.
