On February 15, Ware College House will be hosting a screening of the documentary First Generation, the story of four high school students who set out to break the cycle of poverty and bring hope to their families and communities by pursuing a college education.

As a follow-up to the recent panel discussion on socio-economic diversity at Penn, the community viewing of this film will promote continued dialogue. This is the East Coast premiere of this award-winning documentary by Adam and Jaye Fenderson.

This screening starts at 5:30 pm. After the screening, there will be a Q&A session with the filmmakers.

As with all DWIP events, admission is free. RSVP required.

This event is co-sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Greenfield Intercultural Center.
