Arts at Penn: Up to the minute information about upcoming and ongoing arts and cultural events at the University of Pennsylvania.
  
Blutt College House Music Program: College Houses and Academic Services and the Department of Music co-sponsor private music instruction and ensemble coaching by professional musicians and advanced graduate students and undergraduates who are affiliated with designated houses. Blutt College House Music Fellows also offer masterclasses and recitals in the houses.
  
Career Services: At whatever point in your Penn experience you may need it, Career Services can provide you with support for every aspect of your career planning, from exploring opportunities and internship assistance to lifetime storage of references and premedical and graduate school advising. Counselors offer regular appointments as well as "walk-in" hours for your convenience.
  
Chemistry Advising: Support in Chemistry is offered through the Penn Mentoring Program (PMP). PMP helps students work efficiently and effectively in groups; develop and practice collaborative learning skills that they can adapt to other environments; and more. Participating students are assigned to groups that meet weekly with a mentor. Workshops specific to this program and discipline are held through out the semester.
  
College House Cup: The College House Cup competition is hosted by the Residential Advisory Board and the Department of Recreation. Each College House has its own team that competes in a number of intramural sporting events such as football, golf, basketball, tennis, etc.
  
College Houses and Academic Services: Penn has been building a vigorous on-campus community since the first dormitory was designed in 1763. Now, more than two centuries later, the College Houses at Penn are eleven unique undergraduate residences - hubs of intellectual, social, and recreational activity. They stand at the center of the Penn undergraduate experience, bringing together undergraduates, faculty, staff and graduate students to form shared communities within the larger context of Penn's vibrant campus.
  
Computer Science and Engineering Advising: Support in Computer Science and Engineering is offered through the Penn Mentoring Program (PMP). Computing Help: Each College House has student Information Technology Advisors (ITAs) who provide the set-up help you need and who continue giving support throughout the semester whenever you have questions about computer technology. ITAs install Ethernet cards, assist with software applications, troubleshoot hardware problems, answer general computing questions, and offer educational workshops.
  
Facilities, Housekeeping and Maintenance: You may submit a non-emergency maintenance requests electronically at . Emergency situations should be reported directly to the Information Center at (215) 898-5254.
  
Language Direct: Language Direct provides online and in-person support for students in French, German, Italian and Spanish courses through a tutorial program based in Gregory College House's Modern Language Program.
  
Library Research Consultant Program: Students need to do research at all hours of the day and night, often working in their College House rooms or computer labs. But sometimes the library's online resources can be daunting. The Wheel can help. Library Research Advisors stationed in the Houses meet one-on-one with students to provide on-the-spot help and, when necessary, arrange for more intensive research consultations with professionals. Whether you are just getting started with a project and don't know where to begin, or you are having trouble finding just the right journal article, book, or web site, your Library Research Advisor can probably help.
  
Math and Maple Assistance: Students in need of math advice and help with Maple, the calculus instructional program, can use any of these three services: 1) Sunday Night Reviews are held in David Rittenhouse Laboratories; 2) regularly scheduled Study Sessions run by Math Advisors (see calendar for details); 3) online help is available with calculus and Maple questions at .
  
New Student Orientation: New Student Orientation provides first-year students with an introduction to life at Penn -- academic advising, Proseminars, the Penn Reading Project, evening events, walking tours of Philadelphia, and more.
  
Pennster: During the summer, incoming freshmen can communicate with College House faculty and staff and other members of their incoming class via this website.

Resident Assistant: Featuring over 2,300 pages of content, this site contains programming ideas, games, teambuilders, ice breakers, advice articles, and discussion boards for RAs and GAs.
  
Residential Advisory Board: The Residential Advisory Board aims to promote inter-house communication and events as well as advise the administration on issues affecting undergraduate residents. In particular, RAB serves as the official liaison between College House residents and two offices: College Houses & Academic Services, and Housing & Conference Services. Issues addressed by RAB include, but are not limited to: special events; safety and security; maintenance and facilities; move-in/move-out; renovations; computing safety; smoking; and development of future College Houses.
  
Student Financial Services: Student Financial Services hosts private evening sessions in College Houses throughout the Fall and Spring Terms. Advice is particularly helpful at key periods such as pre-registration (when financial holds could be placed on your account), during drop/add (when course load changes can impact aid eligibility), or if you just need to clear up some questions. Appointments are available during office hours (call 898-1988), or stop by for walk-in service at Room 100 Franklin Bldg., 3451 Walnut Street.
  
Weingarten Learning Resources Center: Developing effective reading, writing, time management, and study strategies can help you become a more active, successful student. Meet with a Learning Instructor to build upon your individual learning styles and strengths, or attend a study strategies workshop.
  
Writing Advising: Students writing papers need help at all hours of the day and night, and Wheel writing advisors are ready to take on your problems - from shaping thesis statements to improving paragraph structure. Writing advice is available in-person Sunday through Thursday evenings at the Kelly Writers House, in the Quad, and in Van Pelt Library. At other times, students can consult a writing advisor by using the website or email (to ). Students who submit their papers or questions are guaranteed a response within 24 hours; most queries are answered within a few hours.
